EYES’ primary objective is to empower youth to engage with their local communities through cultural heritage. By exploring and presenting their heritage, the project strengthens community identity among youth, promotes intergenerational dialogue, and fosters active citizenship. It also enhances digital literacy, equipping youth and youth workers with tools to create multimedia heritage tours that connect local traditions with broader European values like diversity and democracy.
To leverage cultural heritage as a dynamic educational tool, thereby fostering critical thinking, historical understanding, and appreciation for cultural diversity
To develop digital literacy among youth by training them in digital storytelling and multimedia tour creation
To promote social cohesion and community engagement by involving youth in heritage-related activities that build social capital and trust
