Brandenburgische Sportjugend is looking for two long-term volunteers for an after-school care center and a kindergarten!

• the activities will last 11 months

• the responsibilities of the volunteer will include looking after children, helping them by different tasks (e.g.: thematic games or homework), plan small workshops, events or excursions together with the pedagogues

• the children in the kindergarten are 2-6 years old, in the after school care center 6-12 years old

• both institutions have a sports and health oriented focus

• the projects will last 12 months

• Erlebnisfarm Ohlendorf

  • the volunteer will provide environmental education, especially for children with migrant or refugee backgrounds, complete some manual tasks such as redesigning outside areas and take care of the social media networks of the farm

• Atelierhaus Roter Hahn

  • the volunteer will be involved in arts projects with children, the organization of exhibitions and the biggest storytelling festival in Germany. They will have the chance to try many different artistic techniques

• the projects are all long-term, between 6 to 12 months

• 2 of the activities will take place in kindergartens, where the volunteers will support the daily work of the pedagogues
