AIMS OF THE PROJECT:

- to learn about the history of major wars and compare the curriculum between schools in the participating countries. to compare the position of young people in the participating countries in the major institutions of the country (parliament, ministries, to compare the media coverage in each participating country of the most important to present ideas for peaceful coexistence;

- to present good practices and exchange views; - to increase public awareness and information on youth involvement in youth policy at local, national and European level;

- to encourage young people to get involved in youth policy;

- to promote tolerance, acceptance of difference and diversity promoting European values, tolerance, human rights, respect, freedom, culture and international cooperation between young people, youth leaders and organisations;

- create promotional material in the form of promoting ideas for peace;

- promoting non-formal learning, critical thinking and improving the competences of young people, in particular promoting intercultural dialogue, building and strengthening European identity among young people;

- promoting the skills and competences of young people with fewer opportunities;

- promoting intercultural dialogue, building and strengthening European identity among young people;

- raising young people's awareness of the various Erasmus+ projects and other opportunities available to them;

- Encouraging young people to further their education, participate in other projects and become active citizens. Through the project we aim to address young people's need for new experiences and competences to help them enter the labour market and increase their employability, as well as their need to learn about new cultures, to actively participate in society and their desire to make a difference in their environment, in this case to encourage people to be more tolerant. Thinking about European identity and Europe's responsibility in the world - a very topical and important topic at the moment; together we will shortly We will try to develop ideas for peace, together with concrete proposals to make them a reality.

Venue:  Murska Sobota, Slovenia

Participating countries:  France, Hungary, Lithuania, Spain, Slovenia and Hungary.

We are entitled to delegate 5 participants (16-30) and 1 group leaders (without age limit) for this youth exchange.
