"In the fall of 2025, I participated in the Sharing Stories-Building Bridges training in Puck. The main focus of the program was presence photography. The training was excellently structured, and we learned a lot of useful tasks that we will be able to use in our own sessions. The sessions focused primarily on self-awareness, storytelling, and resilience building. What I found particularly good was that the facilitators presented or taught the tasks in such a way that it was not a problem if someone had no photography experience or particular artistic talent, so not only was it enjoyable to do the tasks on the spot, but each of us would also be able to easily pass them on when holding training sessions.
Since returning home, I have already used some of the tasks with the group of 10 children I teach every week. What I learned at the training is particularly relevant because the theme of this year's programs is self-awareness and self-expression. In the future, I would also like to use what I learned here in my sessions with sick children in hospitals.
In addition to the professional programs, we had time to explore the area, the beautiful little villages, towns, and the coast, and get to know the international team. The accommodation was very comfortable and clean, and the meals were varied and delicious. I think it was a very well-organized training course with an exceptionally friendly and professional team who helped us a lot throughout our trip, greatly facilitating any challenges we might have encountered and being available to help us with any problems we had on the spot. I am grateful for this extremely valuable opportunity and to everyone who worked to put together such a high-quality training program for us."

"During the training in Poland, we learned about various creative approaches and solutions in the field of participatory photography. A great team came together and, thanks to the trainers, in addition to the basic topic, we also discussed how we could incorporate the tasks and ideas we participated in into our own projects, and we received tips on how to implement them. The participants were always supportive and active, and the trainers always encouraged us to think outside the box. In addition, they showed us some great team-building ideas in case we decide to organize our own projects for young people in the future."

"In the Sharing Stories youth exchange i have developed better eyes for details, not just in the simetrical and aesthetic context, but in the deeper meaning too. To see the feelings, stories, the past behind objects, and how to share these stories throughout only by visual tools. I have gained some friends, and i really enjoyed their company, since most of them were much better photographers then i was. This gave me the opportunity to learn even more."
Date: 13-21 October 2025
We delegated 3 youth workers to the training course.
Participating countries: Bulgaria, Denmark, Hungary, Italy, Slovakia, Spain, and Poland
