The 'eXPerience' for Youth Workers

The eXPerience: Level Up Your Mentoring Game is a training course designed to empower youth workers and aspiring mentors with the essential tools, mindset, and methods to support young people through meaningful mentoring relationships.
This project recognizes mentoring as a powerful instrument for youth empowerment, personal growth, and community engagement.

It will offer a practical and hands-on learning journey rooted in non-formal education principles, focusing on the relational and reflective aspects of mentoring.
Through experiential activities, simulations, guided discussions, and peer learning, participants will develop key skills such as active listening, giving feedback, building trust, and navigating difficult conversations.
The project also emphasizes the role of mentors as youth leaders—guiding with empathy, consistency, and ethical responsibility.

By connecting participants from diverse youth work contexts, the project also fosters intercultural learning, cooperation, and a shared understanding of youth mentoring across different realities.

Participants will leave the training not only more skilled and confident in their ability to mentor, but also equipped to initiate or strengthen mentoring structures within their own organizations.
