The Blue Economy refers to the sustainable use of ocean, sea, lake, and river resources to support economic growth, improve livelihoods, and protect the health of aquatic ecosystems. It is about using water wisely and responsibly, so communities can thrive without damaging the very environments they depend on.
Imagine:
Clean beaches with thriving marine life;
Renewable energy from waves or offshore wind;
Jobs in eco-tourism, sustainable fishing, and marine innovation;

The BLUEFRONT project brings the Blue Economy to life through youth empowerment, environmental education, and community action. We are:
Hosting focus groups to listen to your ideas
Creating research toolkits so you can explore local water issues
Designing training programs and an online MOOC to teach practical skills
Co-creating Water Roadmaps that guide real-world action
