Join Kazun Association in Transylvania and learn about non-formal education!

• The opportunity will last 5 months from end of October

• The volunteer will be involved in:

  • Leading thematic sessions in local schools and kindergartens

    • Possible topics: environmental education, civic education, soft skills development, learning English

  • Hosting regular after-school English clubs

  • Support communication and social media presence of local folk-dance groups and Kazun Association

• The local population consists of Hungarian and Roma minorities, the main language of the locals is Hungarian

Join the Department of International Cooperation at Sports Youth Brandenburg!

• The project duration is 1 year

• The tasks of the volunteer:

  • Assisting the organization of international youth projects, such as ESC and Erasmus+

  • Preparing the arrival of other ESC volunteers, providing support by the selection and other administrative matters

  • Occasionally helping the implementation of sports events (such as football tournament or swimming camp)

• The project will start in October and last 11-12 months

• The volunteers will:

  • Experience rural, farm lifestyle and perform manual tasks (such as renovation works)

  • Immerse in community living and build connections with the locals

  • Become group leaders for camps, volunteering teams and Erasmus+ projects

  • Learn about non-formal education and acquire how to use these methods

Brandenburgische Sportjugend is looking for a volunteer for one of its kindergartens, Kita Am Storchennest! 

• The projects will last approx. 10 months each

• The responsibilities of the volunteer will include:

  • Looking after children,

  • Helping the staff members,

  • Planning small thematic workshops, events or excursions together with the pedagogues

• Both kindergartens have a sports and health oriented focus

• The projects last 9 months or 1 year

• There are opportunities in:

  • A public library

  • In the youth department and youth information point of the town hall

  • At the Cáritas, which supports people in difficult situations

  • In a second-hand shop, where broken goods also get repaired

  • Accompany children and young people and support their education, especially with migration backgrounds

  • A public secondary education center

  • A non-profit youth association

  • An ecological agriculture initiative

• The participant will have the chance to gain practical skills related to

  • Nature-friendly production of organic vegetables and fruits
