Nada in Jönköping, Sweden
Coming back to Jönköping for the summer felt like a warm hug, exactly what my soul needed.
Those six weeks flew by in a beautiful blur of laughter, spontaneous fikas, and countless “you just had to be there” moments that I’ll carry with me forever. The work environment was just as inspiring as the last time supportive, fun, creative, and filled with the kind of people who make you feel at home from day one.
It pushed me to grow, to step out of my comfort zone, connect with others, and become more open, confident, and energetic. Working with youth and kids taught me patience, empathy, and how powerful genuine communication can be. I learned how to organise and plan events from start to finish, how to adapt when things didn’t go as planned, and how to stay calm and solution, oriented under pressure.
I picked up new skills without even realizing it, from teamwork, leadership, and time management to creative problem-solving and intercultural understanding. Every day brought a new lesson, a new smile, and a new reason to love what I do.
Leaving Jönköping (again) was just as hard as the first time, maybe even harder. But I’m returning home with a heart full of gratitude, new friendships, unforgettable memories, and the kind of inspiration that will keep me smiling until next time.
