CiberAcademy_EU is a transnational Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership that empowers young people (16–25) to turn their digital skills into something meaningful for their communities. While many young people are confident creating entertainment content, they often lack the competences to produce educational, socially relevant digital content and to use digital tools with critical thinking and a sense of civic responsibility. CiberAcademy_EU addresses this gap by combining digital educational content creation with social entrepreneurship and European values, in order to support youth to become active citizens and drivers of positive change.
The project builds on the successful Spanish CiberAcademy model and expands it to a European level. It develops a common pedagogical framework, multilingual open educational resources (OER), and a gamified online learning platform to make digital education accessible and engaging. Youth test and co-create resources, ensuring that the outcomes are relevant, user-friendly, and adaptable across different national contexts. The project also promotes inclusion, gender equality, diversity, and media literacy, helping participants better understand digital environments and make informed decisions.
CiberAcademy_EU is implemented by a consortium from Spain, Bulgaria, Italy, North Macedonia, and Hungary.
