Beyond Borders

The world has become more divided along social, political, and racial lines for a variety of reasons, and this divide has also bled into the lives of many refugees and migrants that have entered the continent, which breaks the mould of inclusion and understanding, which is a pillar of the European way of life.

The core goal of the youth exchange is to reverse the prejudice and exclusion of migrants and refugees while promoting inclusion and equality through the use of sports.

OBJECTIVES:

1. Identify the causes that contribute to the youth divide

2. Recognize the negative effects discrimination and exclusion can have on a person's physical and psychological well-being

3. Explore participants' attitudes about violence in order to enhance awareness of the issue

4. Encourage the constructive participation and socialization

5. Create an environment conducive to learning, sharing, & networking.
