The aim of this mobility was to bring young Europeans together to raise awareness of the dangers of digital technology and data collection, and to give them the tools they need to develop a critical eye. The aim was to encourage them to be more responsible about sharing their information on social networks and to be wary of unverified information circulating on the internet. The project was about working together to create a generation that is better informed and more critical in the face of digital challenges.

"The SafeNet French exchange program was the first Erasmus opportunity I had the chance to participate in, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the varied activities to the food and the company, everything was phenomenal. The workshops covered interesting topics and always managed to offer a new perspective. My favorite was the European Parliament simulation. Especially since it was in English, it provided a very unique experience and showed, in a playful way, the path a legislative proposal takes until it is adopted. Another favorite of mine was the intercultural night, where everyone presented the culture of their own country. This really gave me a sense of how students my age, going through a similar stage of life, actually live. I dare to say that I made friends for life."

"Hello everyone! I participated in the second part of the SafeNET project in France from April 7–10. In my personal opinion, this year’s project tasks were more interesting than last year’s. My absolute favorite was the EU Parliament simulation.
Compared to last summer, the accommodations and meals were of similar quality, so there were no issues with them. This year, our accommodation was located in the city, so we spent part of our free time there and the rest at the accommodation.
Even though the atmosphere was different, the team was just as great as last year. There were no conflicts, and everyone talked to everyone at least a little bit. I highly recommend the program; I think it’s a great way to gain experience and have fun."

"It was an unforgettable experience; I loved every moment of it. The whole program was filled with good vibes, and everyone was kind to everyone else. It’s truly special to live and learn alongside people of different nationalities. I’d generally describe myself as more of an introvert, but in moments like this, I forget that and feel a real connection to people and nations. As we walked along the beach and sang, it felt as if I had known them for a thousand years. We learned a lot about different cultures and the importance of digital security. I also got to experience firsthand, by stepping into the shoes of a politician, how the European Parliament works. This was perhaps my best and most useful experience. I’m sorry that not everyone gets to have these kinds of experiences, because they really add so much to our personalities and our knowledge. These trips mean a lot to me, but this one stood out from the rest."
